When the Roots Run Deep:
A New Season of Growth
I'm sitting here writing this as the New Moon in Taurus peaks overhead, a cup of coffee by my side, and my doodle-boy Barrett snoring (not so softly!) at my feet.
And here’s what keeps coming through loud and clear:
Slow down.
Root deeper.
Stay true to what matters most.
This Taurus New Moon invites a powerful moment of personal growth—rooting into what matters most.
This New Moon isn’t here for the flashy fireworks, or frenzied, overnight transformations.
It’s asking for...
Substance.
Truth.
Patience.
Trusting in the slow, magical becoming.
And honestly?
I couldn’t imagine a better invitation right now.
Taurus Energy Doesn’t Rush
Taurus doesn’t perform.
It doesn’t chase shiny things.
It doesn’t care how polished your highlight reel looks.
Taurus says:
• Build something real.
• Root deeper than you think you need to.
• Plant seeds you’re actually willing to water — day after day — even when nobody’s watching.
If you’re feeling a tug in that direction —
to slow down, to move more intentionally, to build something real - you’re right on time.

The Growth Cycle in Action:
From Awakening to Building
I’ve been moving through my own phase of Awakening this last month:
>> Sitting with identity shifts and getting reacquainted with myself.
>> Feeling the old versions of me fall away as I reclaim my energy.
>> Remembering that it’s okay — even powerful — to be in the in-between, after a season of endings and change.
And now? The energy is shifting as I move into my next personal phase of Builder.
It’s time to root down - and grow strong.
Because real growth happens like trees — quietly at first, deep underground.
The kind of growth that actually lasts — doesn’t sprint.
It settles in.
It takes root.
It becomes.
Growth isn’t a straight line.
It’s a spiral.
A remembering.
A coming home to yourself — over and over again.
"The authentic self demands a fierce loyalty to the slow, patient unfolding of one’s own life."
— David Whyte
You’re Growing Inside Bigger Seasons
One of the biggest lessons The Growth Cycle teaches — and that life keeps showing me — is this:
You're moving through your own sacred seasons.
And you’re also part of something bigger.
You have your own personal rhythm. Your own Growth Cycle. But you’re not growing in isolation.
The Moon, the planets, the energy of the collective — while they don’t control you - absolutely influence the conditions you're growing through. Like the weather impacts a garden.
When the world around you is stirring with chaos, conflict, or major change, it's not just "out there." It touches the metaphorical soil you’re standing in, your energy field, your unconscious mind.
That’s why paying attention matters.
Because the more aware you are of the bigger cycles around you — the more you can move with them, or stay out of the way, instead of getting knocked off course by them.
Right now, under this Taurus New Moon, the invitation is simple:
Root deeper.
Choose truth over speed.
Build slow and soulfully.
When you understand the environment you're growing in, you can make wiser, more soul-aligned choices.
Where are YOU on
The Growth Cycle?
What I’m Seeing with Clients Right Now
In client sessions lately, I’ve been hearing a lot of the same whispers:
>> Feeling between two worlds — not who they were, not yet who they’re becoming.
>> Letting go of old survival strategies — the people-pleasing, the over-functioning — and daring to trust new roots.
>> Choosing aligned relationships, even when it means releasing the familiar.
>> Shifting from just thinking about change to actually embodying it — living it, breathing it, being it.
It’s tender work.
It’s real work.
And if you’re feeling it too — you’re exactly where you need to be.
Trust What’s Growing Underground
Wherever you are today — beginning something new, building something steady, blooming into something bigger, or bravely letting something go —
I invite you to trust it.
Trust the part you can’t see yet.
Trust the slow work happening beneath the surface.
Trust the roots.
Because while it might feel like not much is happening — the most important transformations are often invisible at first.
A new chapter is beginning —
within you, around you, through you.
And you’re not moving through it alone.
We are all tending the gardens of our lives.
We are all growing toward the light.
But for today, under this dark and fertile New Moon —
I’m choosing to trust the unseen.
To honor the soil beneath me.
To stay loyal to what’s mine to tend.
And I invite you to do the same.
